7 Facebook Secrets You Probably Didn't Know
We can all agree that Facebook has a lot of nice features. There are really handy Facebook features that allow you to share everything, whether it's the option to tag, comment, or message someone who has made a comment on your status or the opportunity to add friends.
But did you know Facebook has some hidden features? Here are some of Facebook's lesser-known features that will make your life easier.
1. Download a Copy of All Your Facebook Data
Did you know that? You can download any Facebook post, image, video, and chat interaction you've ever made.
To use these Facebook hidden features, Go to the Settings page and switch to the “Your Facebook Information” tab and click on “Download Your Information“. 2. See Who is logged into Your Account
If you suspect unwanted access to your Facebook account, you may quickly check your account settings to confirm it. Any new logins on Facebook are normally notified to you by alerts, messenger, or email.
In order to start, go to the Settings page and select the "Security and Login" tab. The presently active logins are listed under "Where You're Logged In" here. This will give you information about your current location, browser, and device. After reviewing your devices, click "Log Out Of All Sessions" to log out of all other devices. Alternatively, you can remove them one at a time.
3. See All The Friends You Requested
Facebook will keep track of every friend request ignored or deleted sent by you. It’s simple to see.

4. Turn Off Auto play Videos
Most Facebook users despise it when the video starts playing without them having to click on it. Set Auto-Play Videos to Off in Settings > Videos. It will also disable auto-play on mobile devices.
5. Choose Someone to Look After Your Account
You can name a legacy contact on Facebook who will administer your account after you die. The legacy contact has the ability to make a tribute post for your profile, respond to new friend requests, and update your profile.
If you do not want a Facebook account after your death, you can request that it be permanently deleted without selecting a legacy contact.
Go to Settings > General > Memorialization Settings. Here you can choose a friend for your Legacy Contact.
If you want your account deleted, you have to choose the “Request account deletion” option to proceed with your request.
6. Save Posts for Later
Do you need one of the posts to read or see later? With this feature, you can save any post, video, or link to view them as you need without searching on Facebook again.
When you see the post, click on the triple dots on the right top of the post and choose Save Post/Link/Video option. It will save your post on Facebook. This method samely works on mobile versions of Facebook. You can see the Saved folder under the left-side menu on Facebook Home.
7. Change Your Ad Preferences
They will be showing their ads based on what you are interested in on Facebook. Maybe, when you liked some brands or celebrities, Facebook will get your interest.
To change your ad preferences, go to Settings > Ads > Your Interests. Here you can remove an interest simply by hitting on the “X” icon. Under the “Advertisers” tab, you’ll be able to change all the advertisers as you want.
